Years ago, I was captivated by an Earth Day inspired fashion show. The amalgamation of elegance, glamour and the natural world completely fascinated me. It was then that I realized my eco-passionate and environmentally conscious beliefs didn't have to take a backseat to my fast-paced lifestyle.
DLD is all about forging connections with individuals who share a commitment to ethical principles, cultivating green spaces that are truly sustainable, and supporting, championing, and promoting brands that are environmentally and socially responsible.
If this philosophy resonates with you or if you want to learn more about how you can make a conscious difference, welcome.
behind the account
No green-wagon jumping here, my love for the environment runs deep!
Middle school science fairs and a magnet high school for science were only the start of my journey. I hold an Associates degree in Science for Health Professions, a Bachelors in Environmental Science, and am a capstone away from a Masters in Environmental Management. As an environmental chemist at my 9-5, I lead radiological laboratory testing on our natural resources for radiation.
More recently, I earned my certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) by the U.S. Green Building Council. And to spice things up even more, I've decided to sharpen my Italian skills in preparation for some sustainable fashion studies abroad.
Outside of my academic grind, lab coat swag, and never-ending thirst for knowledge, you'll catch me kicking back with my kiddos, sprucing up someone's space eco-style, crafting content like a media maven, + indulging in The Real Housewives (of absolutely anywhere).
What I'm
loving
Asian flavors, embracing inclusivity, convenience, new experiences + dependable friendships. I will always choose rainy days, spellbinding documentaries, & the gold jewels.
What I'm
learning
Multilingualism, newfound baking skills, and to keep taking bold steps that place me outside my comfort zone. Mindfulness practices + grounding through urban gardening.
What I'm
not about
Judgmental attitudes, wasteful behavior, flaky commitments, or excessiveness. Hard pass on complacency. complaints, and half-hearted attempts.
what I
believe
Sustainable, green lifestyles should be accessible to all, where personal style and environmental responsibility are not mutually exclusive. Ethical values + eco-standards? Two sides of the same coin.

If you're into less toxic make-up options, farmer's market runs, bamboo decor, coconut oil, things I find funny & probably way too many videos of trees - then you've come to the right place.
